We always make sure to keep you informed of all the Disney World construction updates.
Usually, this means photos of rides or new lands that are in progress, but today we have a very unique and interesting construction update for you!
Currently, Disney is in the process of building a fourth Ferry Boat to take guests to and from Magic Kingdom and the Ticket and Transportation Center. And thanks to several aerial photos from bioreconstruct on X, we just got a new look at the progress. This photo shows a straight down shot of the current progress happening over in the Disney service marina that sits just north of the Contemporary Resort.
The construction seems to be progressing very well, but it will still be a long while before the new Meg Gilbert Crofton Ferry Boat is seaworthy. Now, this news is so exciting for Disney fans because this marks the first new Ferry Boat in over 50 years! We are so excited to see another boat entering this iconic Magic Kingdom fleet.
This is not the only boat news happening over in Magic Kingdom. The Liberty Belle Riverboat is also currently living in the service marina North of the Contemporary Resort, ever since the Liberty Square Riverboat attraction closed to make way for the upcoming Piston Peak. Rest in peace, Rivers of America.
