Disney Just Dropped NEW Details About 'Incredibles 3'

Yep, this news is INCREDIBLE! Sorry for the pun, but we just couldn’t resist. The Parr family, Frozone, and Edna are all back in Incredibles 3, and Disney just shared some new details about what to expect in this new movie. Incredibles 3 is currently scheduled to hit theaters on June 16th, 2028.

We’ve been looking forward to Incredibles 3 coming to theaters ever since we heard it was in the works, and Disney just announced new updates, and we’re so excited to see our favorite superhero family back on the big screen. Peter Docter took the stage and gave us some sneak peeks at what to expect. Supers are officially legal again, and Winston Deavor is launching a superhero league. Incredibles 3 will focus on the kids, with Peter Docter saying, “It’s the kids’ turn.”

Both Violet and Dash want to prove they are ready to be real supers, while the family also struggles to contain Jack-Jack. Not all supers are good, though, and a super villain with more power than the whole family put together threatens the world.

At D23 in 2024, we found out that Incredibles 3 was officially in the works at Pixar and is set to come to theaters in 2028. Beyond that, Disney has been pretty quiet, and we’ve been begging for any new details.

Disney has been really focusing on continuing some of our favorite storylines, and honestly, we’re here for it! We bawled our eyes out during Inside Out 2…

…and couldn’t stop ourselves from singing along during Moana 2. Both came out in 2024, and after their run in theaters, they landed on Disney+, where you can watch them every day.

Toy Story 5 came out in June 2026 and was also a massive hit! The gang all came back together to help Bonnie make friends and deal with the ever-changing technology in the world.

One movie that the whole team is excited for at Disney Food Blog is Frozen 3. It will be in theaters on November 24th, 2027, and don’t be surprised if you see us there opening night in costumes and a bucket of popcorn. Frozen 4 has also been greenlit, which is even more exciting. Into the unknown we go!
