When planning a Disney World vacation, deciding on a hotel is one of the most important decisions to make!
For many guests, staying at a Disney hotel is non-negotiable. However, what if we told you that there was a way to stay in an all-suite hotel on Disney property, with access to amenities like theme park Early Entry and transportation, for just about $100 a night cheaper than Disney’s cheapest Value Tier hotels?
Located in the Disney Springs Resort Area — literally on Disney property — the DoubleTree Suites Hilton Orlando offers 236 suites, each with a private bedroom, a separate living room with a queen sleeper sofa, a dining area, and a wet bar with a mini-fridge, microwave & coffee maker.
Further amenities include a heated pool, whirlpool, splash pad, tennis court, a fitness center, an on-site restaurant, a daily breakfast buffet, room service, pool and lobby bars, free Wi-Fi, and more.
Plus, as mentioned above, guests staying at the hotel have access to the same Early Entry perk as guests staying in Disney-owned hotels — a 30-minute period where they can enter each of Disney World’s theme parks before they officially open every day of their stay. In addition, there’s shuttle service to Disney World’s theme parks, and the hotel is within comfortable walking distance to Disney Springs.
So, let’s talk price: We compared a three-night stay at the DoubleTree Suites for the weekend of September 11th through the 13th, with checkout on the morning of the 14th…
… with the same stay in a comparable room at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort.
As you can see, the stay cost about $100 less per night…
… which would end up saving just about $300 overall.
You can use those savings to dine in style at Disney World. Our Guide to Disney World Dining pulls it all together so you can stop stressing and focus on the fun without feeling like you’re missing a thing!
Next time you’re planning a stay at Disney World, keep in mind that the DoubleTree Suites in the Disney Springs Resort Area offers pretty much every essential amenity as Disney’s hotels for a much greater value. Stay tuned to DFB for more travel tips.
