The Belle Vue Lounge is what many call a “rare find” at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.

Modeled after a 1930s sitting room, it has nice touches like board games and working radios playing shows from eras past.
Tucked right off the main lobby, this lounge is a great place to relax and enjoy a drink after a long day at the parks, or even to take a quick snooze in a comfy chair to recharge in late afternoon.

Seek out this hidden gem if…
- Looking for a hidden, grown-up lounge. Belle Vue is a low-key escape with polished bar service and vintage-radio ambience—more “1930s sitting room” than theme-park bar. Perfect for a quiet pre- or post-dinner drink.
- Swooning over old-school theming. Board games, period touches, and classic broadcasts set a cozy mood that feels delightfully out of time. If you like your Manhattan with a little make-believe, this is your nook.
- After-dark sips without an ADR. Hours typically run evenings into late night, and it’s first-come, first-served—slide in for a nightcap without the reservation shuffle.
- Curious about zero-proof and classics. Beyond wine and cocktails, the menu usually includes a couple of thoughtful spirit-free options—nice for mixed groups or a chill pause between parks.
Skip Belle Vue if…
- Hoping for breakfast. Since Carousel Coffee opened in the lobby, Belle Vue no longer does morning coffee/pastries; it generally opens in the late afternoon instead. Plan your AM caffeine run elsewhere.
- Want a full dinner or broad food menu. This is a lounge first; food is limited or absent depending on the day—think drinks and a quiet seat, not entrée variety.
- Need lots of seating or big energy. It’s a compact, linger-friendly space with a mellow vibe—great for conversation, not ideal for large groups or entertainment seekers.
Important Info:
- Though it’s not on the official menu, you might be able to order a classic Belle Vue “Secret Menu” item here: if you enjoy dessert drinks, ask if a bartender can make “The Shadow” for you!
