2023 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend Dates

The Springtime Surprise Weekend is a NEW runDisney event that made its debut in 2022. And it will return in the spring when the 2023 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend takes place April 13 – 16, 2023! Disney has stated that the Springtime Surprise Weekend will feature a NEW theme every year. (SURPRISE!)

For 2023, the races will be themed to DISNEY PIXAR!

2024 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend Dates and Registration Information

Hoping to participate in 2024? MARK YOUR CALENDAR: the 2024 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend will take place from April 18th to April 21st, 2024.

Registration for the 2024 runDisney Springtime Surprise Weekend will open on August 22, 2023 for general registration on runDisney.com. For Club runDisney Gold and Platinum members, registration will open on August 15, 2023. Registration for the Virtual Races will open on August 25, 2023. (Registration typically opens at 10AM Eastern Time for each date, but we will update this page when the time is confirmed.)

Events tend to sell out very quickly. So, if running in these races is something you’re dreaming of doing, be ready to go as soon as the registration window opens!

Toy Story 10-Miler

Location: EPCOT

Registration opening dates are as follows:

Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration — August 16, 2022 at 10AM EST
General Registration — August 23, 2022 at 10AM EST
Virtual Race Registration — August 26, 2022 at 10AM EST

Registration fees are as follows, based on date of purchase for in-person race:

Toy Story 10-Miler: August 23, 2022 – February 20, 2023: $207.87
Toy Story 10-Miler: Starting February 21, 2023: $218.53
Virtual Toy Story 10 Miler: $115.13

Prices include a 6.6% platform service fee.

Disney Pixar Monsters 10K

runDisney Springtime Surprise Challenge

The runDisney Springtime Surprise Challenge combines the Disney Pixar Cars 5K, the Disney Pixar Monsters 10K and the Toy Story 10-Miler —a total of 19.3 miles.

Complete all three races within the pacing requirements and you’ll earn the runDisney Springtime Surprise Challenge medal in addition to your 10-Miler, 10k, and 5K medals. Registration for the runDisney Springtime Surprise Challenge is required to receive the runDisney Springtime Surprise Challenge medal.

Time: 5AM, EST (The yoga session lasts for one hour)

runDisney Health & Fitness Expo

Participants must attend the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at least one day prior to their first event to pick up their race bib, participant shirt and pre-purchased merchandise.
