runDisney Summer Virtual Race Series

The 2023 runDisney Virtual Series will take place from June through August 2023. Virtual Series participants complete a 5K of their choice (from three events) at home on their own schedule and receive a medal for their efforts. Participants who complete all three 5Ks receive an additional series completion medal! In 2022, the Virtual Series theme was “Celebrating Frozen.” Stay tuned for the 2023 theme and medal reveal!

Registration for the 2023 runDisney Virtual Series will open on April 25, 2023 on runDisney.com. (Registration typically opens at 10AM Eastern Time, but we will update this page when the time is confirmed.)

Below you will find theme and price information for the 2022 Virtual Race Series as we await further information for 2023!

The theme for the 2022 Virtual Race Series was Celebrating FROZEN! The individual race events were as follows:

runDisney Virtual 5K — The Original Classic (Frozen)

Per runDisney: “Unleash your inner Elsa over a course of 3.1 miles. Your effort will earn you a commemorative medal featuring Kristoff and Sven in a snowy wonderland!”

runDisney Virtual 5K — The Heroic Sequel (Frozen 2)

Per runDisney: “Celebrate the power of being true to yourself. Your reward? You’ll get an intricately designed medal featuring beloved sisters Anna and Elsa from Frozen II.”

runDisney Virtual 5K — The Boardway Hit (Disney’s Frozen: The Musical)

Per runDisney: “Run, walk or dance your way along your chosen path. Finish the course and you’ll receive a show-stopping medal, inspired by Frozen on Broadway!”

runDisney Virtual Challenge — All 3 of the above 5Ks

Per runDisney: “The runDisney Virtual Challenge includes all 3 Virtual 5K events. Complete them all and earn 3 finisher medals plus a bonus Challenge medal! This one-of-a-kind medal features our favorite snowman, Olaf, enjoying the Summer sun!”
