New refillable mugs for the 2011 “Let the Memories Begin” promotion are on sale now for $13.99 at your WDW resort.
2011 Refillable Mug
Lids (and handles) are now in blue, black, yellow and pink. Yes, pink! I know a few moms that will be grabbing up the “princessy” mugs! 😉
Make sure each member of the family gets a different lid color. That way Mom doesn’t have to sip Dad’s coffee and Dad won’t be taking unintentional gulps of Mom’s diet soda. Note that not all the resorts appear to have the black lids. Let me know which mug types you spot during your WDW resort stay!
Extended Dining Options
It’s almost Spring Break time! WDW is extending dining times at Boma, Cape May Cafe, Chef Mickey’s, Garden Grill, Le Cellier Steakhouse, ‘Ohana and Whispering Canyon Cafe from April 16 – May 1, 2011.
Get your ADR now for Mickey’s Backyard BBQ, which added April 19, 22, 26 and 29 for additional fun at Fort Wilderness. Extended dining times are offered during periods of high crowds, so plan accordingly. Get to the parks early, eat meals early and have Advance Dining Reservations before you leave home!

For guests vacationing now until May 28, 2011, another appetizing pizza option can be found at the quick-service window at Via Napoli in Epcot: Pizza by the slice! If you are tired of the same personal pizzas sold elsewhere in Walt Disney World, try Via Napoli’s slices and let me know what you think. Looks delicious!

Great to see that they are continuing to add more and more refillable mugs to the mix. It really doesn’t look like they will be changing the method anytime soon. Definitely the Blue one as it’s my favourite colour. 😉
So there is black as well as the other three colours?? That would be fantastic, as there are 4 of us. I only heard of the yellow/blue/pink.
There are definitely black ones as well, however they don’t seem as prevalent as the other colors.
Do you know if the Via Napoli pizza window is serving the same pizza that is served inside the restaurant? Iirc, they had something like this around Christmas but the pizza was not the same.
The mugs look great, but will we ever see a return to the resort-specific mug? I just miss those unique touches at the resorts.
I’m going to try the pizza by the slice next time. For research purposes, of course.

Word is that the pizza being sold at the VN window is *not* the same pizza they sell inside. If true, something should be done to distinguish the pizza-window pizza from the real thing.
I don’t mind paying premium prices for premium choices. But leading people to believe they’re getting VN pizza at that window is bad form by Disney–especially since there is a VN logo at the window, adding to the confusion.
What ever happened to the RFID chips they were going to put in the mugs? Last time I was there, this past Dec, I saw nothing about the “chip” being used.
