Trail’s End
Trail’s End Restaurant was closed at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground for a little while to get a big refurbishment. When it reopened at the end of July, it was remade into a quick service spot with market-style service. Cinderella Castle
After almost four long years, Disney World is bringing back the Disney Dining Plan, and some fans are PUMPED. This add-on allows you to purchase your dining in advance by buying a certain number of “credits” to dine at restaurants on property. And we’ve been straightforward with you in the past that some restaurants aren’t exactly worth the credits when using the Dining Plan. So what are two restaurants we’d never use the Dining Plan for? We’ve got some surprising answers.
Just when you get comfortable navigating the parks, Disney switches things up on you. Just when you finally thought you understood the rules of Genie+, we find an exception. Let’s be real; things change in Disney World all the time.
Disney’s BoardWalk
Right now, there’s a TON of construction going on both in the parks and around various resorts, which can cause a lot of things to change. While we were walking around Disney’s BoardWalk Inn recently, we noticed that a popular pizza spot temporarily MOVED.
Dining in Disney World can certainly be done on a whim. And we do love to grab a new treat when we see one!

However, when we have a full day planned, we like to have the best eats in mind before we get to a Walt Disney World theme park. After all, it’s important to spend our dining budget on the best Disney food. That’s why we researched all the food that EPCOT restaurants have to offer so that you aren’t led astray!
Did you know just 15 minutes outside of Disney World is the World’s Largest McDonald’s? To be technical about it, this is actually the World’s Largest Entertainment McDonald’s, and it has a lot of things that your average McD’s at home doesn’t have.
McDonald’s
If you know us, you know we bring you the McDonald’s news. We have recently tried the Big Mac Sauce and reviewed it for you. We told you how McDonald’s plans to handle AI in the future. We even created a Bob Iger Celebrity Meal at Mcdonald’s. So it shouldn’t be a shock that when we heard about this special Mcdonald’s just right down the road from Disney, we had to go look.
Hollywood Studios has a lot of food choices to grab a bite while you’re getting in your thrill rides.
Tower of Terror
Riding rides can work up an appetite. When you get hungry at Hollywood Studios, there are quick-service and table-service restaurants to choose from. There are also yummy snacks like the Wookie Cookie or a Lunch Box Tart from Woody’s Lunch Box. We’re going to take a look at a quick-service option here that you might be passing right by.
It’s no secret that we love trying new Disney food. We are Disney FOOD Blog, after all.

It’s been an eventful week in Disney World for foodie news. There’s a NEW menu at California Grill that we had to try, Narcoossee’s has reopened with a whole new makeover, and TWO Disney restaurants were recognized by Michelin Guide.
