We continue to celebrate our new e-Book — The DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining — with fun info from the book! To give you an idea of what you’ll be getting, here’s another helpful tip from the e-Book!
As many of you know, it can be difficult to find a great cup of joe in Walt Disney World. Oh, sure, there’s plenty of that Nescafe instant stuff to wake you up. Yet, for those guests that want more than a morning jolt from their mug of coffee, you’ll have to arm yourself with a treasure map (or a copy of our e-Book!).
For travelers staying at the Polynesian Resort, you have two locations for a great cup of coffee. Try the Kona Cafe and/or the Kona Island Coffee Bar next door! Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom can easily stop at the Polynesian to grab a cup to go. The coffee bar is located just inside the doors on the second floor — just steps from the monorail!
The Kona Blend used by these locations is grown in Hawaii and is served regular and decaf, and you can order a Regular or Grande size. (We recommend the Grande since it’ll be a while before your next good cup of coffee.)
Read more about the Kona Cafe plus 2 more pages full of information on great coffee hot spots in Walt Disney World!
Find it all here in the The DFB Guide to Walt Disney World Dining!

You are 100% right about the coffee @ Kona Cafe. It is by far the best you can get there!! Can’t wait to go back again!
We just returned from four days at WDW. Twice we had the pressed pot of coffee at Sanaa. They use Kenyan AA beans. Excellent flavor!
Great tip and post! I’ve been meaning to stop here.
I thought I knew all the places at WDW to get decent coffee, but the DFB Guide named a couple of coffee outlets I wasn’t aware of. Getting a great cup when the caffeine need hits, is reason enough and worth the price of buying the guide.
DH & I have spent time during each trip to WDW trying to find the real coffee locations. Thank you for listing them in the DFB Guide – very helpful! But, the one thing I can’t get over – aside from table service restaurants, is there really NO location for brewed coffee in the Magic Kingdom!?!?!? Main Street Bakery – Sleepy Hollow?? As much as we would love to take the time and head over to the Poly for the terrific Kona coffee on our way to the Magic Kingdom in the mornings, we just can’t justify that extra trip (coming from one of the value resorts). Especially with kids in tow. Allearsnet has a real coffee loctaion listed at a “Popcorn/Beverage Cart in Partners Circle”. Can anyone verify this?? Thanks for all the great info DFB!!
Jen — Awesome!!
Tracie — Fantastic. I’m headed there on Wednesday!
Brooke — Let us know how you like it 🙂
Alan — Thank you for the note!! Much obliged! And if you find more good coffee, let us know.
MVH — Shocking, right? I’ll check out the Popcorn/Bev Cart in Partners Circle tomorrow when I’m in the MK!
My family and I really enjoy the Kenyan coffee at Boma’s in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. They used to sell Kenyan coffee beans ground and whole in the gift shop at the resort. At least I hope they still do. I plan to pick up a few bags while visiting in Oct.
