We’re back with more Disney Food — er, Drink — Photo fun today, thanks to our fantastic readers who contribute to Disney Food Blog Photo Extravaganza — our Flickr page!
Speaking of Disney Drinks, it’s time to talk Glow Drinks! I can’t help it — I absolutely love these things!
You do too, it seems! Let’s see a couple of your best shots featuring Disney’s world-famous glow drinks that we found on Disney Food Blog Photo Extravaganza!
Light & Colours at Disneyland Paris
Photographer: Hilary_JW
For our first glowing cocktail, we’re going all the way to France! Yep, that’s right. they even have them at Disneyland Paris! If you’re interested in picking one up on your next trip, head to The New York City Bar at Hotel New York, and ask for the Light & Colours. A combination of raspberry vodka, green apple liqueur, and fruit juices, this sounds refreshing, and looks fantastic!
Tropi-Glow Cocktail at The Wave
Photographer: MGiordano1
This lovely shot of the Tropi-Glow Cocktail, formerly found at The Wave of American Flavors in Disney’s Contemporary Resort makes me want to run right there, right now, and order their Magical Star Cocktail. Delicious and fun, with a souvenir glow cube thrown in for good measure.
Sci-Fi Dine-In
Photographer: Daniel WandermanSci-Fi Dine-In
at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has some of the best dinner entertainment around, with their fun “B” movie reel and convertible dining cars! But we also love their delicious drinks. And since the restaurant is so dark — being a drive-in theater and all — it’s fitting that many of them feature glow cubes as light sources!
We super appreciate all of our readers who share the photog talents on Disney Food Blog Photo Extravaganza! All images are copyrighted to their photographers. Do not download or re-use without photographer permission.

Oh we drink quite a few of the magical star cocktails when we are at Disney!! I have about 20 or so glow cubes (between my mother and I). But I re-purpose the glow cubes as lights for in paper Chinese lanterns. I hang them inside from fishing line and used them to decorate the gym for an event at my daughters school. Everyone thought they looked magical! So when we go to Disney I tell my mom we’ve got to drink up, “it’s for the kids”
Just to point out that Lights & Colours also comes with a glow cube (you could probably guess that!). I managed to resist the temptation to take repeated photos as it changed colours – I save that for castles!!
My tip is to always ask for your glow cube on the side – remember, that glow cube is taking up space in your drink that would be reserved for….more drink!
I must try one on my next trip! Are there any good non-TS places to find the Blue Glow-tini?
Jenny, you can pick it up at any lounge. I’m not sure if it’s still on the menu, but they should be able to make it.
