Having just returned from an amazing trip to the Tokyo Disney Resort, there are a few items there that I just have to share with you! The Pizza Spring Roll being basically at the tip top of my list. Yes, you read that right PIZZA SPRING ROLL!
Located in Tokyo Disneyland’s Toon Town is this adorable little food cart that serves two types of Spring Rolls. Don’t mind my husband ordering in what appears to look like a Ninja Turtle outfit. It happened to be pouring rain!
The two types of Spring Rolls offered are Pizza (yum) and Egg & Shrimp (not so yum). If you’re curious about pricing, 290 Yen is about $2.42. Very reasonable for a filling snack.
The Spring Rolls are pre-made and awaiting your arrival at Toon Town. Both types look identical, so the different sleeves let you know which type of roll you have in hand. The red packaging is the Pizza Spring Roll and the yellow is the Egg & Shrimp. Perfect planning!
Here’s a close up of the Pizza Spring Rolls in their sleeves.
cold and rainy day this was really a perfect snack. They are served up very warm and are really similar to a pizza flavored Hot Pocket, but instead of a bread coating, it’s stuffed into a fried spring roll. Gooey pizza sauce & cheese with a crunchy outer shell. Seriously so amazing!!!
And one more photo just because I love the packaging so much! See Chip & Dale’s tree house back there??? It’s just like the one we have here in Anaheim. But what we DON’T have and SHOULD have here are Pizza Spring Rolls.
Have you been to the Tokyo Disney Resort and had the privilege of trying a Pizza Spring Roll? If it weren’t for my dear friend, Abi, who showed us every nook and cranny of the resort, I would have never have known about this awesome snack. I can’t wait to go back and have another. Someday.
What do you think? Would you try a Pizza Spring Roll? Stay tuned because I have a few more great Tokyo Disney snacks to share! The snack scene there is pretty legit…
