Before a recent visit to Via Napoli in Epcot for a pizza, my husband and I had a few spare minutes before our Advance Dining Reservation. We decided to spend that extra time in La Bottega Italiana, one of the Italy Pavilion’s shops, where I happened upon some fun kitchen gear and other Italia-themed merchandise.
It had been a while since I’d popped in this particular store, so I’m not sure how long these have been around, but what stood out to me right away was this fun apron featuring Mickey formed out of various pasta shapes.
Mickey and Minnie are both accessorized with farfalle (or bow-tie pasta – ha!) on potholders and dish towels.
The same design is also in place on a travel mug.
Similar items focus on the decorative Italia script.
And this cutting board has a few added bonuses: a map of Italy, along with Mickey and Minnie taking it all in by way of a gondola. 🙂
I am seriously considering hiring somebody whose entire job will be to come with me to Disney World and remind me that the last thing I need is another mug.
Because when I see one I like this much I completely forget the ever-growing collection of Disney mugs I already have at home.
Anyone else have this issue? Are mugs your vice, or maybe something else? Please tell me I’m not alone.
Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this little tour of some items you can take home from Epcot for your own Italian kitchen! Until next time, Alla Salute!
AND Buon Appetito…
… from Epcot’s Italy!

I love the way the cutting board looks and I hope they still have them when I am in the World in December. I just wanted to let you know Wendy, that I couldn’t stop laughing when I read your comment about Disney mugs as that is my vice too. I have so many of them but I cannot help myself when I am in Disney World as they always bring out new ones that I just have to have. Those mugs are adorable and I know I will have to find space for just one more 🙂

I also have a mug issue. I have tempered mine by giving myself a strict rule: if it’s not dishwasher safe, it cannot come home with me. Just take a picture and leave it there. For whatever reason, a TON of Disney mugs aren’t dishwasher safe. I’m not saying I don’t still have two cabinets filled with mugs, I totally do. But the no, non-dishwasher safe rule has saved me quite a few mug purchases at Disney parks.

I’d love to buy similar themed dish towels from each country…I wish they would have something like that! The Mickey pasta icon on the other merch is adorable!

Love my Disney mugs. Resort mugs are my favorite.

I have a mug problem also! I have bought a lot of my mugs, but I also receive Disney mugs as gifts, so it’s not entirely my fault. I just had to start using some of them for things other than beverages. My Chip mug currently holds my makeup brushes, so I get to see it everyday. My husband has a Gaston one that holds his pens for work.
