Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
will open in Disneyland in the summer of 2019 and in Disney World’s Hollywood Studios in late fall of 2019. And Black Spire Outpost — the village on the Planet of Batuu that we as guests will visit — will serve up drinks and entertainment at Oga’s Cantina!
Oga Garra is the alien proprietor of Oga’s Cantina… and as Black Spire Outpost is set on a smuggler’s planet, Oga is used to keeping “unruly patrons in check.” In fact, the Cantina has a history of being a safe haven for smugglers and patrons hoping to avoid authorities.
So who else to stop by the Cantina to make sure everything is on the up and up than Stormtroopers? We’re told other “familiar faces” may frequent the establishment, too.
Oga’s Cantina is famous for its concoctions — which will be available with choices for kids and adults both — that feature “exotic ingredients using otherworldly methods, served in unique vessels.” Disney has confirmed that the menu will include themed cocktails, non-alcoholic specialty drinks (mocktails) and “proprietary beer and wine options,” making this a first (outside of Club 33) for serving alcohol in Disneyland.
And we mentioned Cantina entertainment, didn’t we? Expect RX-24, the former StarSpeeder 3000 pilot droid from Star Tours, to serve as the Cantina’s DJ!
Get ready for fun music, themed drinks, and “a colorful cast of characters” when Oga’s Cantina opens on BOTH coasts next year!

While its exciting as ever, I cringe at the thought of the crowds and difficulty in getting into any place in this land for 2 yrs. Disney really needed to make this entire land their 5th park!
Alex says
As long as alcohol stays in table service I don’t see the issue of alcohol in Disneyland and MK
Dianna says
I am appalled they are going to serve alcohol anywhere at Disneyland… Walt would not approve!!! This is family time not drinking time… plenty of that outside in Downtown Disney!
