If you’re staying at one of the three Disneyland Hotels – Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier, or Grand Californian – this Halloween Time season you are in for some Halloween Time Treats!
Each Hotel has been decorated – one even taken over – for the season, plus there’s Trick or Treating, a Halloween Bakery Cart, and some special performances.
The Grand Californian has a Halloween display with 13 (of course) pumpkins made out of rice krispy treats, icing, chocolate, and fondant – with Oogie Boogie himself as the centerpiece.
Plus, the Grand Californian is home to a Halloween Bakery Cart. Super cute treats are on the menu, including this Mickey Whoopie Pie. Check out our review and more details here.
The treats aren’t limited to the Grand Californian. The Coffee House at the Disneyland Hotel is offering a chocolate Bat Cookie and Pumpkin Muffins. The Surfside Lounge at Paradise Pier has Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Across all three hotels, the Red Poison Apple Glow Cube can be found at restaurant or quick service locations.
And you’ll find the Disneyland and Paradise Pier Hotels have each been decorated for the season as well. Paradise Pier has even been “taken over” by pirates and may now be known as “Pirates Pier” to some!
Halloween Trick or Treating at Disneyland Resort Hotels
If you’re staying overnight at the resorts you can take part in complimentary trick-or-treat festivities on select afternoons from October 2 through October 31. Each of the three hotels will have a treat map of locations, so you and your kiddos can visit all three hotels.
Activities will include coloring pages, bat mask decorating, and create-your-own pirate hat. Cookie decorating kits are also available for a fee. If you want to participate in this, you are encouraged to sign up at the Guest Services desk.
Lastly, a capella performers, the Skeletones and the Cryptix, will be performing throughout the hotels of the Disneyland Resort, and you’ll find the Scareolers in Downtown Disney. You might be lucky enough to hear them sing “I Put a Spell on You” or “Grim Grinning Ghosts” when you find them!
If you’ll be in Disneyland be sure to check our reviews of the Halloween Time Treats in the parks, and download your own Halloween Time Treats Checklist!
