November 8th will be a big day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! It’s the day Flurry of Fun, the park’s seasonal event, kicks off for the holidays. And if you’re driving to Hollywood Studios to celebrate the season, there’s another change taking place that day you’ll want to be aware of.

A new vehicle entrance will be opening on November 8th, too! Disney has provided the map below so you can scope out the new park entrance and exit located off of Osceola Parkway.

(The current main entrance — off World Drive and Osceola Parkway — is being repurposed for Cast Members only, and the satellite entrance on Buena Vista Drive will be used for buses.) Drivers coming from southbound Victory Way will also have access to a connecting road. Directional signs around property will be updated accordingly for easy navigation to the new parking lot.
The change comes in preparation for what will be a HUGE year for a transforming Hollywood Studios.
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge coming 2019
Not only will 2019 mark the park’s 30th anniversary, but it will also see the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in late fall.

I drive that section of Osceola Parkway often. Can’t believe this will be ready in just two more weeks. That would be some real Disney magic.
When is the 2019 DFB foodguide published?
Not a fan of this change. We drive from BCV to MGM because it’s faster than taking the boat or walking. Now the drive is significantly longer; not great for time management.
Leah, it’s typically ready in early January!
My husband and I just visited the new World of Disney Store today at Disney Springs and we find it fabulous. My husband can actually get around inside the store in his mobility cart. The displays are wonderful.
