As we look over the 2018 Disney Year in Review, one classic location that has seen a few changes this year is The Plaza Restaurant in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.
This beloved Table Service restaurant began serving breakfast in November. The new offering has been such a hit that this temporary meal keeps getting extended. Originally it was only to be offered through early January. Then, Advance Dining Reservations were extended into early March.
And now, interested guests can currently book breakfast at The Plaza Restaurant through June 1, 2019!
Breakfast
As a reminder, the breakfast offerings include traditional items such as the All-American Classic Breakfast Platter and Steak and Eggs.
Fun Plaza-twists include their own version of Mickey Waffles and Eggs Benedict dishes with Country Ham or Lobster and Fried Green Tomatoes.

Lunch
If you’re visiting for lunch, you’ll still find all sorts of Plaza classics like Home-style Meatloaf and the Plaza Club on the menu, and more.
And more recent hits from the past couple of years have found a regular home on the lunch menu, too! These include the Fried Green Tomato Sandwich and Brisket Mac and Cheese.
And, though they aren’t an entree, we’re so happy that the Loaded Plaza Fries (you’ll find them under the Appetizers) have stuck around, too!
Dinner
Dinner these days offers some items unique to the later meal as well.
Plenty of those classics from lunch can still be enjoyed, of course.
But unique to dinner are items like the Kentucky Turkey Hot Brown Sandwich and Lobster Cobb Salad.
A Smoked Pork Chop and Strip Steak present some hearty options.
And the Vegetarian Bangers & Mash features two plant-based Bratwurst Sausages with the dish.
All of these offerings and more are reasons why The Plaza Restaurant has remained one of our favorite restaurants over the years. And no matter which time of day you visit, we hope you’ll enjoy your next meal at The Plaza Restaurant, too!

We had breakfast here the first of December & it was great! Since it’s still a relatively unknown spot for Breakfast, it was pretty empty in there. The banana cream with the waffles is incredible.

You know what, the food looks pretty good. But I just can’t get over the prices. It’s been about two years since our last Disney trip and I’ve spent so much time eating in “real” (non-Disney) restaurants on vacation, I think I’ve lost my tolerance for the price gouging.

I ate at the Plaza for the first time ever, back in July. I was so excited to go, because I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things. I ended up being so disappointed! The food was ok at best. My best friend has to eat Gluten Free, and Chef Ken was not working at the time we were dining. She ordered a sandwich of some kind with a Gluten Free bun, and it looked more like a piece of plastic than a bun. I want to give it a second chance but I’m not overly enthused with the idea.

We ate here in late November and we were disappointed. We both got the steak and it was way over cooked and lacked any flavor. After sending it back the second one was better but nothing great. It was literally soaked in butter and grease. I would not get it again and would not recommend. Made the meal far too heavy and it was just not great.

Curious if you can go in an order the Plaza Loaded Fries to go? They look SO good but we’ve already got all of our table ADR’s booked… And if so, is it a snack credit?
