If you’re anything like us, you’re anxiously seeking details about Galaxy’s Edge at Walt Disney World’s Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Scheduled to open in the fall of 2019, work continues in earnest… at least as much as we can see.
On a visit to the park yesterday, we were able to capture a little more detail of this building that’s being constructed adjacent to Tatooine Traders.
Wrapping is down on this project (it was there just last week), so we can see a lot more detail, like the green tile roof and linear, simple overall design.
No word yet on what this building is, but there’s a large opening on the front. Maybe a small storefront? A place to grab a snack? Or just a DVC sales location? Time will tell!
We also peeked over the wall in Toy Story Land to see what we could see. There’s plenty of scaffolding still in place, but the topography looks really cool.
Check out these recently released details about Galaxy’s Edge!
As for Disney’s Hollywood Studios Skyliner station: we spied more red detailing being added. We can’t wait to see this completed!
The Skyliner is scheduled to open in 2019 as well, so you can bet we’re going to be chasing details and progress for months! 😉

I wonder if the generic structure that doesn’t really fit with what’s going on behind it is an indication that Star Tours and it’s surroundings are on the chopping block once Galaxy’s Edge opens?
