Our visit to Magic Kingdom was busy this week! We found a restock with a price increase, a fun krispie treat, more construction and refurbishment work, Haunted Mansion merchandise is back in stock, and more!
Look who was in the Magic Kingdom looking rather relaxed — none other than Chicken Little! He was visiting yesterday as part of the rarely-seen-in-the-parks character visits during Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration — learn more about these visits here.
What’s New in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland
The Mickey Sipper, that is a part of Mickey and Minnie’s Surprise Celebration
, is back in stock at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe — but with a higher price tag on it!
The new, higher price after a restock isn’t the only odd thing about this Sipper’s price — read all about the Mickey Sipper Cup’s price increase in Disney World and difference in price between Disney World and Disneyland for the same item here!
There’s a lot of activity going on in the area of the temporarily-closed Tomorrowland Speedway and behind it as work progresses on the construction of the Tron Attraction. The new Tron Attraction opens in 2021 — learn more here!
Be sure to see all the photos of the construction progress on Tron here!
What’s New in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland
In Fantasyland by the Train Station you’ll notice new construction walls are up around the Casey Jr. Splash ‘n’ Soak Station during refurbishment.
Learn more about Casey Jr.’s refurbishment and when it will re-open here!
Casey Jr.’s isn’t the only location in Fanstasyland undergoing some refurbishment. You’ll also find construction walls and some scrims up around the Castle Couture shop as the exterior of the store is refurbished.
Rounding out the construction and closures — a portion Cinderella Castle is still blocked off, including the path to the wishing well, as they work to take down the Christmas lights from the Castle.
It’s not all construction in Fanstasyland, we found the Minnie Donut Krispie Treats in Big Top Treats — learn more about these cuties here!
What’s New in Magic Kingdom’s Shops and Stores — New and Returning Merchandise!
Yeah! The Haunted Mansion Spirit Jerseys were back in stock in Mickey’s Star Traders! It’s been a while since we’ve seen these in stock, so was a nice surprise! If you won’t be in the parks soon you can buy this online!
We also found these perfectly spooky looking Haunted Mansion Bat Ears back in stock in Memento Mori and The Emporium.
That must-have Light Up Snack Necklace was in quite a few stores in the park today! Be sure to grab yours while you can!
See more pictures of the Disney Snacks Light Up Necklace here!
If you want bag clips with some Disney style you’ve got to get this set of Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar bag clips!
How fun will it be to see these in the pantry on your bags?
What’s New in Magic Kingdom’s Eateries
It looks like Disney is changing suppliers for their cold drink cups in the parks. The supplier has been Dixie, and that is who supplied the cups we got when we picked up our free water yesterday (learn more about free water in Disney here).
However, when we picked up a soda we noticed the cup was supplied by Solo.
As you can see both suppliers are using the same graphics on the cup. Unless you look at the bottom of the cup to see the brand, you may not notice the change.
We’ll close this post with a Happy Valentine’s Day from Mickey and Minnie! See all the special treats you can indulge in on Valentines Day here (or special Villaintines Day treats here!).
