There is no shortage of yummy snacks and fun restaurants and stores for you to enjoy in Disney Springs. And over at YeSake we’ve got a brand new treat to share with you this weekend — taiyaki is here!!
This traditional Fish-shaped Japanese Sweet Stuffed Pastry is filled with sweet red bean paste with a garnish of whipped cream and raspberry sauce.

Now, because Yesake is run by the same folks who run the restaurants in Epcot’s Japan pavilion, we’ll often see Epcot festival favorites from the Japan booth pop up here.

Takumi Table at Epcot’s Festival of the Arts
So if you were a fan of the Taiyaki that was at the 2019 Epcot International Festival of the Arts in the Takumi Table then you are in luck! The new Taiyaki is very similar, but replaces the sweet Sesame Custard with a raspberry sauce.

While you are at YeSake you can find other fun new flavors at their globally-inspired kiosk. The menu mostly features wraps and bowls that you can customize with your choice of protein, toppings and sauce. But do not forget to pick up one of their delicious sakes or adult slushies while you’re there!

I wouldn’t eat at Yesake ever again. Went last week, and asked the girl if she recommended the salmon or tuna. She told me they’re both raw. I said, “Yes I understand, which do you recommend?” She gave me a nasty look and said, “I don’t know. I don’t eat this stuff.” I was appalled and should have walked away then, but I tried it anyway because I was in a rush and wanted to get to my car to go home. The lettuce was bitter, half of the avocado was brown, I got 3 different sauces and they were all terrible (very bitter or overly sweet), and it was overall a very disappointing experience.
I really hope it’s the exact same Taiyaki (Sans sesame custard, bummer.) I really enjoyed this at Festival of the Arts. I’ll definitely make a stop when I’m at Disney Springs for this!
