It’s here! The first day of April brings with it the arrival of the new Briar Rose Gold merchandise collection in Walt Disney World!

This brand new batch of gear honors Briar Rose, also known as Sleeping Beauty‘s Princess Aurora. (The classic Disney films celebrates its 60th Anniversary this year!) Though the merchandise is popping up all over Disney World today, we found these particular items at Epcot’s Mouse Gear and Gateway Gifts.

We’ve also provided some links because several of the items can now be found on shopDisney.com as well. And there’s no better place to start with these new color collections than with the classic: Briar Rose Gold Minnie Mouse Ears!

These take the place of the previous Rose Gold Minnie Mouse Ears. With the Briar Rose Gold version, the Ears themselves are made with a glitter fabric (as opposed to sequined in the previous Rose Gold). We’ve noticed that they feel a little softer in the wearing and don’t snag hair as much.

And, of course, the Briar Rose Gold Spirit Jersey isn’t far behind!

Thanks for the pics. I’m trying to figure out what color this Briar Rose Gold is in real life. In some pictures I’ve seen it looks very similar to the previously released rose gold, but in other pics it looks more like bronze. Can anyone provide clarification from first-hand experience?
I would like to buy the Briar Rose Gold Mickey Sweatshirt….is it online? I was at Disney last week and they didn’t have my size and I had to leave to come home.
