It’s time, it’s time for Dole Whip Lime… in the new DOLE WHIP LIME MARGARITA found at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort!
The Polynesian has been making the most of the lime Dole Whip, which made its Disney World debut at Magic Kingdom’s Storybook Treats in the Peter Pan Float. Since then, the Polynesian has featured it in the new Heart of Te Fiti Lime Dole Whip Cone at Pineapple Lanai.
And now, there is another Lime Dole Whip treat — but this one’s just for adults!
The Dole Whip Lime Margarita can currently be found at the Barefoot Pool Bar, but it will soon arrive at the Oasis Bar and Grill, too.
It features Corazon Blanco Tequila blended with, of course, Dole Whip lime.
You can get your choice of a salt or Tajin rim.
Clearly, we chose the Tajin (and suggest you do, too, if you love that spicy chili lime flavor)!
This is such a fun twist on BOTH the classic margarita AND Dole Whip treats! It’s a great choice for frozen drink fans, and the flavor of the lime Dole Whip shines and is not overwhelmed by the tequila (though its taste is still present).
So, if you’ve been excited to try Dole Whip Lime, this new margarita gives you another fun way to do it! (And if you still prefer your Dole Whip in the classic pineapple? Well, no worries… the Polynesian has the perfect spiked version of that for you, too!)

Why is the Dole Whip Margarita worth this amount of money? Profit? Yes ! But it seems that more than profit is at hand here. Is this something that Walt would have approved of? Sorry ! But for some, this creates a absentee of a lot of people. A wet and wild Margarita in any other sector costs a lot less.
Andrea says
Walt is dead. No-one knows what he would have approved of.

I was at Grand Floridian last week. We went in search of the Lime Dole Whip Margarita to the Polynesian,,and IT WAS SOOOOOO WORTH IT!!!! Was a sunny, hot Tuesday afternoon and was PERFECT drink to hang at the pool bar with !!! No other Margarita compares to this one and I oughtta’ know being a practicing “Margaritaville” fan for over 20 years !
Definitely worth the time to go find this! Only issue might be: If you are not staying at the Polynesian, u cannot get into the pool area where the bar is cause its magic-band controlled, and Oasis didn’t have them yet !
Bartender told me: its now in the “Top 10 selling drinks at Disney”, they sell so many of them! I’m hoping the Grand Floridian starts carrying them so I don’t need to keep going over there to Polynesian for one !!! I’ll be there at the GF again next week!!!

Josef, the mixed adult beverages at WDW all cost in the $11 – 18 range. That is not cheap, but it is pretty similar to what we pay here near D.C. where a standard martini can easily run $14.00. Yes, they want to make a profit – it’s a business, mot a charity – and Walt was not opposed to profit. You can choose wine or beer for under $10 in many places if you prefer, and if you have a dining plan, as an adult you can select those (or in certain cases, some mixed items) instead of soda or coffee with your meals at no extra charge. My last margarita at a chain restaurant near home cost $9.50 so not that far off the one I had last year at the stand in Epcot ($11.00) – and the one in Epcot was larger and better.

To each their own. I worked at WDW for over 27 years. People know when they come here that they are going to pay a bit. The great thing about Disney is that they are always trying and making new things for guests to enjoy. The Dole Whip craze started years ago and has branched out to drinks, etc. As for Walt Disney, no one has more respect for his ideals and dreams than I do. I have admired him ever since I went to Disneyland when I was 10 years old. That one day changed my life. Unfortunately, cancer took him way too early, and yes, business is probably done much differently than what he would have done it today, but things evolve. As I said when I started, to each their own. Everyone, enjoy:-).

Hi!
This looks soooo yummy!!!
For those of us with a dining plan, but staying at Poly, can this be a snack credit or ordered as the alcoholic beverage with a quickservice meal or maybe with Ohana dinner?
DFB Sarah says
Sky, no alcohol for a snack credit, but you could ask at ‘Ohana. I’m thinking it won’t be available in the restaurant, but it can’t hurt to ask!
