Just last week Disney announced that select Disney World Resort hotels would soon begin to offer Mobile Order. And the first of the new Resort hotel dining locations just went live on Mobile Order through the My Disney Experience app for Walt Disney World guests!
Everything POP Shopping & Dining — the Pop Century Resort food court — is the first of the newest additions to Mobile Order dining options!
As a refresher, Mobile Order is a feature available within the My Disney Experience app which allows guests to pre-order and pre-pay for their food at participating Counter Service Restaurants around Disney World. Upon arrival to the restaurant, guests using Mobile Order can then bypass the ordering queue and go straight to a designated Pick Up Counter to get their food.
Though Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has, for some time now, offered Mobile Order at two of its dining locations (Centertown Market and Spyglass Grill), up until now the feature has primarily been available in the Disney World parks and D-Luxe Burger in Disney Springs. But this time-saving option will likely be welcome by many Disney Resort hotel guests!
In coming weeks, Mobile Order will also expand to The Mara at Animal Kingdom Lodge and Contempo Café in Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and we’ll be keeping you posted!

darn, that would have been really nice to have a few months ago when I was a pop. After using mobile order elsewhere I sort of wondered why they did not use it in resorts, guess I got my answer
What they really need to do is let you use AP, Tables of Wonderland discount and a Disney gift card with mobile ordering.
This just makes me more excited to be staying at POP again in Oct and Nov!!
Glad to hear that The Pop Century is doing Mobile Order. Come September 2020, I’ll be able to choose something to eat while I’m on The Magical Express.
Hmm, I guess I don’t understand. Maybe Everything POP has changed their food service system. The last time we stayed at POP Century resort the entire menu was already prepared, served cafeteria-style, and there was seldom a line. For us in that situation, I don’t see how mobile ordering would improve service. Perhaps there are some high-demand times when lines are long waiting to select your items from the serving line.
I can definitely see mobile ordering speeding things up at any location where food is not completely prepared until you arrive. With mobile ordering at that type of location, food prep can start while we are walking up.
BTW–we enjoyed our stay at POP Century, enjoyed the food, and plan to return. One of the best things we ate during the week we were at WDW was the Everything POP Turkey Panini sandwich on fresh foccacia bread.
