The fan-favorite Main Street Electrical Parade will return to Disneyland Park for a limited-time engagement this summer!
Main Street Electrical Parade
The “spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination” will return on August 2nd with nightly performances through September 30th. The parade will feature its iconic sparkling lights and “electro-syntho-magnetic musical sounds” for all guests to enjoy.
We simply can’t wait to experience this nostalgic and beautiful parade once again!

I think they shipped the whole parade to the West Coast, so it can’t be in two places at one time. We really miss it!

They shipped it to Disneyland, then sent it back to Florida, ( and never showed it), and are now shipping to back to California. Why didn’t they just leave it there?
When are they going to bring it back to Florida and show it. It was one of my families favorite shows, we would be there for 10 days and never missed it while we were there.
Yee Ha!! Yes! I can’t wait! The original electrical parade was always my favorite. I hope Walt Disney Corp. takes note of how much both parks love this parade and makes a second copy. It is by far the best parade in design and concept Disney has.
They took it away from Disney World years ago and left us with no nighttime parade. People have been complaining for years they want a nighttime parade, but Disney won’t listen.
Yes it would be fantastic if they brought back the electrical night parade as nothing they have going on now is any kind of a replacement. My whole family misses the parade. But then if they had the parade they could not shoo people out of the park so they could have there very expensive paid after hour events. It makes me very sad when I leave the park at night with no parade.
It seems like Disneyland gets the best of everything! They took the electric parade out of Disney World and shipped it over to Disneyland. Also, now, Disneyland is showing SOARIN over California – which was my favorite. Not a big fan of the new version here in Disney World. Also, Disneyland got a great reservation system for The opening of Galaxies edge. The way that they have set up the opening at Disney World seems like it’s going to be a catastrophe! There will be huge crowds waiting to get in the park at 6 AM and a massive marathon run through Hollywood studios to get into Galaxies Edge. Poor planning on the part of Disney! Not looking forward to that at all. Don’t know why we can’t have a reservation system like Disneyland had in the beginning. Seems like Disney World is always second-best.

I’m being my girls to see it & now that they’re old enough to understand why I’m so nostalgic about it , it will be a great trip ?
