Hey friends! It’s time for another roundup of What’s New in Magic Kingdom!
This is where we take you on a virtual walk around Disney World and tell you all about the latest construction, food, and merchandise we’ve spotted throughout the Magic Kingdom!
With everything that’s been happening since our last installment, there’s much to discuss, so let’s get started!
Construction Update in Magic Kingdom
Magic Kingdom Entrance
Over by Magic Kingdom’s main entrance, heavy construction is still underway!
The Walk Around the World bricks were still stacked behind a construction wall, and they were also working on repaving the area.
We can’t wait to see how the new entrance area turns out when the construction ends! It’ll be nice to have it lookin’ all spiffed up, but we’re not sure yet when that’ll be the case!
Tomorrowland
Meanwhile, construction continues in Tomorrowland for the Tron Lightcycle Run coaster!

The crowds seemed especially heavy to us while we were hangin’ out to Tomorrowland!
This area of the park has a tendency of getting a little bottlenecked, but there were definitely a lot of folks out enjoying a day at the Magic Kingdom this week!
Food Update in Magic Kingdom
The Main Street Confectionery and Big Top Souvenirs
In anticipation of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil big release, Maleficent Treats were on full display at the Main Street Confectionery and Big Top Treats in Storybook Circus! We can’t believe the movie is coming out tomorrow, (October 18th!) Check out these nummy-looking Maleficent Cake Pops we spied!
And look at the size of the Maleficent Candy Apple! This thing looks like one wickedly good treat we’d like to eat!
But there’s also this appetizing Maleficent Krispy Treat! Too many tough decisions — we might just have to get all three!

Adventureland
Meanwhile, the Spring Roll/ Egg Roll Wagon has rolled to a new location! It’s now located closer to Adventureland’s entrance — we hope this will make it even easier to nab some tasty spring rolls while exploring the kingdom.
Although it’s location has changed, the menu appears to have stayed the same. It’s still slangin’ its delicious Cheeseburger and Pepperoni Pizza Spring Rolls!

Merchandise Update in Magic Kingdom
Uptown Jewelers
Uptown Jewelers had many of the 10th Anniversary Dooney and Bourke Bags in stock. The retired patterns “Mickey Balloon” and “Disney Sketch” were re-released on October 11th in a variety of classic Dooney and Bourke silhouettes. They still had plenty of Mickey Balloon Tote Bags for $298 on the shelves when we were there!
They also had a few of the Disney Sketch Dooneys left including the Disney Sketch Satchel for $268, which features blue leather trim!
They also had the Disney Sketch Equestrian for $228 — an adorable crossbody Dooney bag with green trim.

Also at Uptown Jewelers, we spied this super-sweet Rose Gold Mickey Bracelet for $19.99 — it looks like we’ll be adding another Disney bracelet to our collection!
Main Street Cinema
We also noticed a sign advertising a Precious Moments Halloween Collection. The event will be taking place from October 17th through the 21st at Main Street Cinema, for all you Disney doll collectors!
Mickey’s Star Traders
We usually find some interesting stuff at Mickey’s Star Traders — and today was no different! Check out the cool new WDW Magnet we spotted! This is gonna look great next to our “My Other Car is a Doombuggy” bumper stickers!
Big Top Souvenirs
We hit the new merch motherload at Big Top Souvenirs! Check out this fantastic new collection of Disney Desk Plates for $12.99!
We think people might take us a little more seriously with this Queen of Hearts Deskplate.
But there’s also this sweet Walt Desk Plate with a softer tone and sentiment.
We were totally STOKED when we saw the Carousel of Progress Desk Plate — we’re big fans of when Disney gives some lovin’ to the old classic attractions with new merch!
But this Haunted Mansion Desk Plate perhaps says it best. This one would be great to display for Halloween — or year-round, depending on your sense of humor!
We also spotted the Mr. Toad MagicBand at Big Top Souvenirs!
The design features the easily-excitable Mr. Toad on one side…
But while lovable, he’s often a handful, which is why Moley and Ratty are on the other side! Gotta make sure he doesn’t try to give away the deed to Toad Hall… AGAIN! The Mr. Toad MagicBand can be yours for $24.99!

Bonjour Gifts
At Bonjour Gifts, we noticed a bunch of new Mickey Stationery that has slowly been trickling into the parks lately. We saw this handy “Believe in the Impossible” Clipboard for $17.99.
And also these charming Blank Notecards for $12.99 — love the little hidden Mickeys!
The set includes 12 cards with four different designs, perfect for dropping someone a quick thank you card!
Or you could jot down all your happiest memories at Disney in this “Today is a Dream Coming True” Journal for $19.99.
Memento Mori
We’re totally infatuated with these new Haunted Mansion Dioramas that we found at Momento Mori for $24.99.
There are two different scenes to choose from — the “Attic” Diorama which features the axe-wielding bride, Constance Hatchaway…
…and the “Séance Circle” Diorama which has the always spellbinding, Madame Leota, complete with all her magical accessories!
Both are super-detailed and SO COOL to look at — we love spotting all the Haunted Mansion references!

Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe
And on our last stop at the Magic Kingdom, we discovered the Halloween Party Ears were available during regular park hours! Usually, these ears are only offered during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, but there they were at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe, bright and early!
