Disney+ is launching in less than a month and boy, are we excited!
The new streaming service goes live on November 12 and is pretty affordable at just $6.99 a month. But, we’re of course on the lookout for discounts and deals when it comes to the new service. Depending on your phone carrier, you may be in luck! We found a pretty awesome deal for Verizon customers.
New and existing Verizon customers will receive one full year of complimentary Disney+. The goal is likely to ensure that Verizon customers will continue to subscribe after that initial year but that free year comes to about an $84 value. WOW!
This offer will be extended to new and existing Verizon Wireless Unlimited customers, new FIOS Home Internet customers, and 5G Home Internet customers.
Customers will be able to activate and watch Disney+ on any platform that the service is available on (including iPhone, Android, Roku, Xbox, and PS4). If you’re currently with (or planning to switch to) Verizon, keep your eyes peeled for details on how to activate your subscription soon!

Will there be a date when this offer will be finalized so that existing Verizon customers can take advantage? Second question: will existing Disney+ subscribers be able to receive this offer if they already have a 3 year Disney+ contract due to begin on Nov. 12th. When I’ve renewed magazines in the past, I’ve been able to extend my subscription with no problems or issues, so I’m hoping this will be able to work!?!
Lucky me. I am a long time Verizon customer and just signed up for Disney+ through the D23 offer a few weeks ago. I wonder if I will be able to get credit for the extra months.
Catherine, I think you’re going to have to talk to Verizon about that!
Catherine, you can sign up for email updates from Verizon here:

Lew, it mentions on the Verizon site above that if you already signed up, your paid subscription can be put on hold until your free verizon year is over… more info above!
I think this is only available to U.S residents though, is that correct? Not your Canadian friends ☹
Melanie, I just checked the Verizon info about this, and you’re correct.
