We’ve been keeping an eye on news about the storm headed for Florida this weekend.
What was Tropical Storm Isaias has now been strengthened to Hurricane Isaias, with the Eastern coast of Florida remaining in its path. The state is likely to feel the effects of the storm this weekend, potentially even in Disney World.
According to WESH, Hurricane Isaias is currently a Category 1 hurricane. Current models show the storm potentially strengthening to a Category 2 before dropping back as it makes its way up the Eastern coast of the United States.
Though most models currently expect that the center of the storm will stay off the coast, the rain and winds may have an effect on the coast of Florida and more inland, as far as Disney World.
If you’re headed to the parks this weekend, be prepared for potentially inclement weather. We’ll keep you updated with all of the important news about Hurricane Isaias and its effect on Disney World. Stay tuned.
