Not too long ago, Disney released some awesome wheelchair-friendly Halloween costumes for those looking to explore their superhero side or princess power.
Disney also made some matching accessories that can transform wheelchairs into the Incredimobile or Cinderella’s Carriage.
Today, as we made our way around Magic Kingdom, we stopped by Sir Mickey’s, a gift shop in Fantasyland…
…and found that one of the wheelchair cover sets is actually being sold in Disney World now! As Sir Mickey’s is a store in Fantasyland right near the castle, it was appropriate that we found the set that transforms wheelchairs into royal carriages being sold there.
The set comes with various pieces including parts to cover the wheels and the sides of the wheelchair, and various pieces to help strengthen the structure so it stays up. The set fits most wheelchairs with 24-inch wheels, so be sure to keep that in mind and make sure it will fit the wheelchair you’re buying it for.
We spotted the Buzz Lightyear and Cinderella wheelchair-friendly costumes in Sir Mickey’s as well. We’ve also seen these costumes available in Downtown Disney in Disneyland and online.
The Cinderella’s Carriage Wheelchair Cover Set is $49.99. Even if you don’t want to put on an entire costume, this wheelchair accessories set can be a great way to join in on the Halloween fun and live out your princess dreams in the most magical place on earth and wherever else your royal carriage may take you.
