There are lots of changes to the transportation options at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort today!
As a part of the MAJOR renovation going on at the Polynesian through Summer 2021, the monorail station has CLOSED. For those staying in the DVC Villas and Bungalows, there is now Disney bus transportation available!
In lieu of the monorail, you can currentlyly take a bus to and from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Magic Kingdom. We stopped by and saw one of the buses in action today!
As of right now, boat service remains unavailable between the Polynesian and Magic Kingdom but we’ll be keeping an eye out for the return of the Friendship Boats to this route. Stay tuned!
