We’re still full from the massive list of holiday treats that we ate in Disney World (and they were worth every bite).
But, we can’t help but look forward to our next great meal in or out of the parks! 😉 Restaurants like McDonald’s have made a home for themselves as Disney continues to expand its property. And, White Castle has announced that it will also be bringing its ONLY Florida location right nearby the Disney World resort area!
Although White Castle hasn’t had a Florida location in 50 years, the burger chain from the American North East has started its development this year at Unicorp National Developments Inc.’s O-Town West near Palm Parkway and Daryl Carter Boulevard. The new location is only minutes from Disney World, so you can grab a burger on the go before your visit to the parks!
According to Spectrum News 13, White Castle has announced that it will begin to build its Orlando location on November 19th! The facade of the restaurant is going to include a “sleek, modern industrial-style architectural design” with the chain’s “iconic tower.”
While the restaurant won’t be opening near Disney World’s property until 2021, it will be bigger than White Castle’s largest existing location in Scottsdale, Arizona. White Castle has detailed that “The 4,567-square-foot restaurant will include indoor and outdoor seating, two drive-through lanes, and is expected to create 120 new jobs.”
And, if you’re craving a burger after a late night in the parks, you’ll be happy to know that White Castle will be open 24/7 to everyone visiting! As more information is released about the upcoming construction on the Orlando location, we’ll be sure to share everything you need to know!
