Although Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park must remain closed under California’s current  theme park reopening guidelines, several changes are coming to Disneyland Resort very soon!
The Villas at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be reopening soon for Disney Vacation Club Members and Buena Vista Street at California Adventure Park is set to open for limited dining and shopping later this month. Now, we’ve got another update related to reservations at Disneyland Resort hotels.
Disneyland has been continuously canceling its resort hotel reservations, with the most recent cancelation through late November. But, now that is being extended.
We chatted with a Disneyland Cast Member and confirmed that Disneyland is now canceling Disneyland Resort hotel reservations through December 31st, 2020.
If you have any questions regarding your specific reservation, you can contact Disney or your travel professional. Of course, this cancellation is subject to change and potentially be extended again in the future. We’ll keep an eye out for more updates regarding Disneyland reservation cancelations and other Disneyland news. Be sure to come back for all the latest updates.

Kathleen McGowan says
We’ve continually rebooked our DVC reservations at the Grand Calif as they changed their opening dates, trying to use our points because they expire Dec 1. But now that there is finally an opening date of Dec 6, DVC tells us it’s our fault that our points will be expired and we just lose them! This has been so frustrating!! They won’t work with us at all. How cam they do this to us? We are both high-risk to Vivid and can’t travel out of state. We, in good faith, continually pushed our reservations – as they encouraged us to do! – so that we could enjoy and use our very expensive points. Now they are just screwing us.
Did anyone else expensive this problem?
