In response to recent events, the Walt Disney Company has released a statement on the events in Washington DC.

On the evening of January 7th, 2021, a brief statement was posted to the Walt Disney Company’s Twitter page.

The tweet says “A message from CEO Bob Chapek” and discusses Wednesday’s events in the US capital.

Chapek mentions that “it is imperative that we come together as one nation – united by our shared values… .”

He continues by saying “we should seize this opportunity to move ahead with optimism and hope for a better, brighter future for all of America.”
