Yesterday we were back in Magic Kingdom, and now we’re here to share what’s new!
We have a few construction updates and some brand-new merchandise. We even spotted some characters! Let’s dive right in.
On our way into the park, the Dapper Dans passed by us on their trolley!
Then, in Frontierland, we passed a character cavalcade. Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto looked as happy to see us as we were to see them.
Now let’s get to the updates!
Magic Kingdom Construction Update
Merchant of Venus
The junction between Merchant of Venus and Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies was sectioned off.
Even though Merchant of Venus has remained closed since the parks’ reopening last July, guests used to be able to look into the store and see the merchandise.
Now, the view is completely obscured with the black barrier.
Bonjour! Village Gifts
At Bonjour! Village Gifts in Fantasyland, painting on the side of the gift shop is complete.
However, the store remains closed. The tree line has been moved to the front of the store to block the door.
We’ll keep you posted here at DFB when we get news about the store re-opening!
Main Street, U.S.A.
Roy and Minnie have returned to the center of the hub in front of Main Street, U.S.A.!
The statue is moved for the holiday season to make room for the Christmas tree. But now, the beloved pair is back.
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Update
In the Emporium, we found some brand-new pet tees. You can now dress your pet up as Donald Duck, Zero from The Nightmare Before Christmas, and more! These outfits are $24.99 each.
We also found some new Up pins! Here, Russell throws a ball for Dug (who loves playing fetch!).
And in this one, Kevin celebrates her freedom! We wonder if she’s running towards her babies.
Both of these pins are $9.99 each! We’ll keep you posted here at DFB if we spot any other new pins.
In Uptown Jewelers on Main Street, U.S.A., we found the new Italy Pavilion Dooney & Bourke collection! It consists of a tote ($268), satchel ($198), and mid-sized handbag ($298).
We had previously spotted these at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Riverside Depot. We’ll let you know if we find them anywhere else!
That’s all for our Magic Kingdom updates today! As always, we’ll keep you posted here at DFB with any Disney park news, so be sure to stay tuned.
