We’ve been taking full advantage of the return to park hopping at Walt Disney World!
We love that in the morning we can have Dole Whip for breakfast and then head over to EPCOT to enjoy the Festival of the Arts in the afternoon. In fact, we park hop so much nowadays that we even broke down what we love and hate about its return to Disney for you! While being able to go from park-to-park in one day again has been fun, there was still a ticket option that was missing and will FINALLY be making its return to Disney World next month!
In case you forgot, WATER PARKS (well, OK…one of the water parks) reopen in a few short weeks!
Beginning March 7th, 2021 (the day Blizzard Beach reopens), Disney will bring back the Park Hopper Plus ticket option. This ticket lets you park hop to multiple parks in one day PLUS visit a variety of other Disney experiences on the same day.
Not all of the options typically available with the Park Hopper Plus ticket will be open, however. Those listed as “Currently Unavailable” have not reopened at Walt Disney World. BUT, Disney’s Blizzard Beach will reopen on March 7th, making it an option to visit the water park if you purchase the ticket.
Just thought you might like a friendly reminder that, if you’re looking to tackle some of the available extras currently open, you’ll be able to get this ticket again next month! We’re keeping a close eye on all that is returning to Walt Disney World so stay tuned to DFB for the latest updates!

Geoff says
I was informed yesterday that fast passes have been stopped and for those of us who have paid for club level rooms all club services have been stopped. So no purchasing additional fast passes, no assistance with reservations, no club room with food and drinks available all day. And Disney has offered nothing in compensation. Very disappointed. Do you have any information when these things might become available again?
Jay says
This is great news! How will this work with booking your Park Pass? Would you still require a morning reservation at a park in order to park hop? and will the 2pm hop time still be in place?
Ken says
Where is the annual pass…?
Jim Anthony says
Still need to have annual passes to come back. Coming down in September, if Canada opens the border with US, for 24 days and a 10 day park pass has to be used in 14 days.

Can reservist take advantage of the discount?
DFB Sarah says
Robert, from what I’ve heard and read, some Reservists are able to take advantage of the discounts, while others aren’t. I think you’re best bet is to check with Disney to be sure.
DFB Sarah says
Jay, as far as Disney has said, Park Hopping will remain as is — so yes to a Disney Park Pass reservation in order to enter a park in the morning, and yes to the 2PM hopping start time.
DFB Sarah says
Geoff, no word from Disney on when these will return, unfortunately.
Gary Langdon says
DVC refunded point differential between a Club level room at Jambo and a Standard room after our last stay at AKL. Stayed on the 6th floor with no amenities ; but , a great view of Arusha.
LORRAINE POLLACHEK says
Oh, the park hopper. That’s nice, I guess. It satisfies the WDW guest who WANTS to park hop. What about Florida residents who can only visit WDW for a day or two at a time? My late husband used to keep a constant eye open for a good Florida Resident ticket special. Then we were more than happy to pay the extra $15 for the “no expiration” option. We could use our tickets when and how we pleased. Today’s ticket specials take advantage of Florida residents by forcing us to use one or two days and forfeit the other one to three days we already paid for.
Kim Ballantoni says
Any word on when Hoope Doo will return?
Cindy says
We have 10-day “one park per day” tickets for our April trip. Can we upgrade to park hoppers?
DFB Sarah says
Cindy, I’d think so. Give Disney a call or chat to see if they can help.
DFB Sarah says
Kim, no info yet!
Beth W says
LORRAINE POLLACHEK Not sure who told you you could only use two days as a Florida Resident. I just came back yesterday from a 4 day trip to WDW and used all 4 days of my Resident tickets in a row.
Taryn says
Any idea when Annual Passes will be available again? Hoping someone will leak something so we can plan accordingly! We have a 10 day coming in April/may.
DFB Sarah says
Taryn, I wish we had an update from Disney on this, but no info yet. We’ll keep checking and updating.
Lorraine Pollachek says
Beth W: No one told me I could only use 2 of 4 days on a pass. You were not paying attention. I SAID that since WDW discontinued the nonexpiring option on Florida Resident Passes and now made those passes expire after a short time that we were often forced to use only part of our pass because our schedule did not allow us to use 4 days at a time and thereforce forced us to forfeit the soon to expire unused days.
