Well, at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can! Savi’s Workshop helps you construct a customized lightsaber, and it’s a super engaging experience. But if you’re planning a visit to this scrapyard, there’s an update you should know about.
The lightsaber building experience at Savi’s has undergone a price increase! Previously, your customized lightsaber cost ya $199.99 plus tax.

Now, it’s $219.99 plus tax. As before, a carrying case is included, and you can purchase additional customization at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. So nothing’s changed except that extra 20 bucks — but guys, that’s a pretty BIG increase!

We did confirm with a Cast Member that this price increase only applies to guests booking today onwards. So if you’ve previously booked your lightsaber experience, the old price will apply.

We’ll note though, we’ve had readers reach out that, even though a Cast Member told us the new price wouldn’t affect previous bookings, they were still charged the new price. So if you made a reservation previously for Savi’s, just know you’ll likely be hit with the higher price.

I have been having the most difficult time making a reservation for this. I am just at the 60 day mark but keep getting that it’s already booked up?
How can that be. I have one more H.S. Day planned for 6/21 but am frustrated to no end.

We had made a reservation 60 days in advance for our lightsaber build on April 21st and the price increased, it did not lock in the $199 price. 🙁
