The PeopleMover is back OPEN in Magic Kingdom and we are SO happy.
Can you blame us? This beloved attraction was closed for over a year with a LOT of delays to that reopening date. We were starting to lose hope! But, have no fear, we’re able to cruise along through Tomorrowland again. Today, we noticed that more parties were consistently being loaded onto each ride vehicle.Â
When we visited the PeopleMover on its reopening day, we noticed that about two groups were being loaded on each train. Today, we spotted that there were more folks cruising by!Â
We spoke to a Cast Member at the attraction who let us know how they are doing loading right now. According to the Cast Member, Cast Members said that each car (of the five) could hold up to 6 passengers and up to three parties with one car empty in between. So currently, they’re loading guests with one empty car between each party. You can see that empty gap car in the above photo.
Keep in mind that the PeopleMover was listing longer waits while we were there, but the wait was not nearly as long as posted! As always, stay tuned for all the latest ride updates!
