As people continue to get vaccinated, COVID-19 policies keep shifting.
We’ve previously seen the CDC relax guidelines as states move towards a full reopening. Today, the CDC changed mask recommendations entirely for fully vaccinated individuals, stating that it is considered safe for those people to forgo masks both indoors and outdoors. And in response, President Joe Biden has issued a statement.
The White House has reiterated the CDC’s new guidelines, stating, “If you’re fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask — indoors or outdoors, in most settings.” However, individuals are still required to follow regulations set by their workplaces or local businesses, which may have a different policy.
Big news from the CDC: If you’re fully vaccinated, you do not need to wear a mask – indoors or outdoors, in most settings.

Keep in mind that Disney World does still have a mask mandate in place for ALL guests, both indoors and outdoors. You are able to briefly remove your face covering while actively eating or drinking while stationery, or while taking socially-distanced photos outdoors. We’ll continue to keep you posted on the latest news regarding this policy.
