If you’ve ever dreamed of working at Disney World, here’s your chance!
Sure, if you’re a student, you could sign up for the Disney College Program, which recently resumed. Or you could scour the Disney jobs website for an opening. But if you’ve got some culinary skills, you could attend a special job fair AND score a $1000 bonus if you’re hired!
Disney World is hosting a Culinary Job Fair that is 100% open to the public. The goal is to find the next group of talented people to work for Disney in culinary roles. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to apply for jobs on-site, and some will even be able to interview right there. Others may even be hired on the spot.
And the majority of those who are hired will get a $1000 bonus after they’ve been in their position for at least 90 or 150 days (depending on the position) after Disney hires them. Culinary roles receive a starting rate of $18 to $20 per hour, although, as of October 3rd, new culinary hires will be eligible for a starting rate of $19 to $21 per hour.
If you’re interested, the job fair is on August 24th and August 25th from 9AM to 5PM at the Convention Center at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. But don’t worry if you can’t make it, you can also apply for culinary jobs at Disney World online.
We’ll continue to keep an eye on Disney employment and let you know about other opportunities that come up, too!
