ALERT!🚨Mickey is the STAR of Disney's New MONTHLY Merchandise Collection!

Over the past few years we’ve seen some exciting and VERY popular monthly merchandise collections released on shopDisney and in the parks.

It’s Mickey!

Back in 2020 it was the Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction collection. Then in 2021, we got the Stitch Crashes Disney collections, some of the pieces for which have yet to be released (though some items were released early). What will 2022 bring? Will there be another monthly merchandise series and early mornings full of coffee and sitting in virtual waitlists online? Turns out the answer to that is “yes!”

The next monthly series will be themed to the main mouse himself — MICKEY! Yep, we got a Minnie Mouse Main Attraction series and now we finally get a Mickey Mouse Main Attraction series! The announcement was made in a tweet from shopDisney today.

Yesterday, shopDisney shared a post on Twitter teasing a big announcement featuring a character hidden in the image below. Do you see it? It’s Mickey hidden on the balcony just below the 50th sign!

And today, Disney made their BIG reveal of what this new merchandise collection will be. Looks like 2022 will be a celebration of the mouse that started it all. If this series follows the pattern of the Minnie Mouse series, then a new collection should be released each month of 2022 and be themed to different Disney attractions, which will all be a part of the bigger overall series!

So if you’re a fan of Mickey, a collector, or just love the look and idea of this Disney merchandise, GET READY! We expect this series will be very popular, just as the other monthly collections have generally been. Some of the Stitch Crashes Disney and Minnie Mouse: The Main Attraction items sold out super fast online, and we often found them selling quickly in the parks too! You can also expect to see some long lines in the parks on the days when these collections drop (if they are released in the parks).
