According to SITA, a firm that collects data on baggage handling, over 28 MILLION bags are mishandled annually, with 77% of that number covering delays and another 5% representing bags that are completely lost!

This may seem extremely limited, but it’s not the be all end all of its capabilities. If you are away from your AirTag and another iPhone user comes within that radius, it will alert your phone of its location. Plus, with the Find My network you can see the general location of your AirTag and once there the Bluetooth will take over to lead you directly to your lost item.

You will still have total privacy, even when someone else’s phone alerts you to its location.
