Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration is far from over, and we’ve got new Minnie ears to prove it!
This celebration has been all about EARidescence, and the newest ears have the sparkles to match that theme. We’ve seen them at Animal Kingdom and Disney Springs, but now you can buy this bejeweled accessory without even leaving your house. But watch out — there’s a catch.
Disney’s newest Minnie ears are navy blue, covered in sparkles, and bedecked with jewels on the front. There’s a gold satin-y bow in the middle as well.
On the side, you’ll find the words “Walt Disney World 50” embroidered in gold thread.
The back of these ears is fairly plain, but there are still lots of sparkles from that blue material. If you want to buy these in the parks, they’re $34.99. But that’s not the case online.
To get these ears from shopDisney (Disney’s online shopping site), you’ll have to pay $5 extra — they’re $39.99 online.
This is a little bit unusual, as we normally see lower prices online when compared to the parks, especially since the recent Minnie ears price increases. So if you’ll be in Disney World soon, you might want to wait and purchase these ears in the parks! But if you don’t have plans to visit the parks, $5 extra is still quite a bit cheaper than planning an entire Disney vacation just to pick up these beauties. 😉
