Price increases hit Disney World in a huge wave recently, with hundreds of menu items increasing in cost. We also saw some special experiences get more expensive, such as building a lightsaber in Galaxy’s Edge.

It looks like the price increases aren’t over yet — one very popular souvenir just got quite a bit more expensive in the parks.
Refillable mugs, Capture Your Moment photo shoots, and iconic snacks all recently got more expensive in Disney World. But the latest item that has been affected by price hikes might be one of the hardest hit: Minnie ears seem to have increased in price by $5.

This price increase has mainly affected Minnie ears that are the standard, base price — we haven’t seen a major difference in the price for Loungefly ears or other designer options. But the ears that were previously $29.99 in the parks are now showing a $34.99 price.

We saw this change in the Disney World parks and at the big World of Disney gift shop in Disney Springs. However, it doesn’t seem to have changed the price for Minnie ears for sale online at shopDisney. Right now, many ears (besides designer ears) are still showing the $29.99 price tag there.

So if you’ve got your eye on a new pair of Minnie ears, you may want to head to shopDisney for now and buy them there instead of in the parks. We’ll keep an eye out and see if the price increase begins to affect the ears online in the future.

Yet another reason not to stay at a Disney resort – the Swan and Dolphin have 24 hour room service since they are Marriott hotels. No need to drive to the local gas station ;).
These continuous price hikes are DISGUSTING. How much is enough for Disney? I am not surprised that many people in the parks now have short tempers and it will get worse. We the customers have NEVER been treated with such a lack of respect. Our family of 9 was at Disney in 2019 when Disney was still the HAPPIEST PLACE on earth. When we came to Disney in June 2022 our 29th visit with 9 members of our family, every thing had changed. Disney NO LONGER has FEELINGS, EMOTIONS, SYMPATHY BUT PARTICULARLY LACKS EMPATHY toward us your guests. I used to love watching a Disney commercial on TV. You felt some wonderful in the pit of your stomach. A feeling of anticipation for our next visit. Now when I see a Disney commercial on TV what I feel in the pit of my stomach is anger. Disney, you DESTROYED what was once a fabulous experience. Disney, you are now just a GREEDY BUSINESS .
Don’t buy Disney ears. Make your own for less than $5. Just google ‘How to make no- sew Minnie Mouse ears. So so easy !! Never pay $35.00 !!!!!!!!!!
