If you thought Disney was done with price increases, think again.
Back in January of 2022, we saw hundreds of price increases on all kinds of food items. That happened again in October 2022. Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bars, pretzels, bottles of water, character meals, and more are all more expensive in the Most Magical Place on Earth. And now we’ve spotted another price increase.
If you love those resort refillable mugs, get ready to pay MORE for them. These popular mugs were previously priced at $19.99, but that has since been increased to $21.99.
We spotted this change on a variety of Disney World restaurant menus, including for Landscape of Flavors at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort…
…and Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
In other words, expect to pay MORE for your resort refillable mug on your next Disney trip. Not familiar with these mugs? These refillable mugs are located at Disney World resort hotels generally at their counter service locations.
If you buy one, you’ll then be entitled to unlimited free refills on fountain drinks, coffee, and tea from participating beverage locations throughout the length of your Disney World resort hotel stay.
We’ve seen 50th Anniversary designs available but oftentimes there are also holiday-specific designs that pop up as Christmas approaches.

I still find it as a reasonable value. If you’re a coffee drinker like I am, one large cup of coffee each morning at the resort is $4.29. For a week stay, you get your value out of the mug with One cup a day, and you have a great souvenir to bring home! Win/Win
Are they still selling the stainless steel vacuum sealed mugs anywhere at any of the resorts?
I like those much better than thr plastic ones because they are actually functional after the vacation is over.
I feel that the mugs are still a good value considering all of the price increases on food . I know that I get my money’s worth on my ice tea, and soft drinks when we stay for a 10 day vacation. But aside from that increase trying to stay on a food budget is almost impossible , because the prices at the restaurants seem to go up every single day .
Honestly, the only thing about this price increase that surprises me is that it didn’t happen years ago.
Nope, never bought these – used to come free with the Disney Dining Plan. And then I didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth. Too long of a walk to beverage stations at most resorts. Saving steps becomes a priority for us when we visit Disney. Plus we drink mostly water while there.
