The Walt Disney Company has started celebrating its 100th anniversary in a BIG way — and more is still to come!
100 Years of Wonder
The party kicks off in Disneyland in January 2023 with new nighttime shows and the opening of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. But we’re already seeing some special merchandise for the event. Today, the 100th-anniversary collection dropped online at shopDisney and in the Disney World parks. Soon, even MORE special merchandise will come out! Here are some details about future items coming for the event.
Disney released the Disney100 Platinum Celebration Collection already (that’s what dropped online and in Disney World), but more collections will debut in 2023. Upcoming collections include the Disney100 Oswald Collection, the Disney100 The Eras Collection, and the Disney100 Decades Collection.

Disney just said that these will be released “starting in 2023,” so we’ll have to watch for more specific release dates. Oswald has already been part of the 100th anniversary, with Disney animators creating a new short starring the iconic character. You can watch that short here!

The Decades and Eras collections sound like they could be similar to the Vault collections that debuted in Disney World for that resort’s 50th anniversary, so we’re hoping to see some vintage Disney merch as part of that merchandise line.
