After hearing about this exclusive event, you might be tempted to join! D23, the official Disney Fan Club, frequently puts out member perks — like offering exclusive 100th anniversary merch and events throughout the year. Today, we learned that the next exciting event for members is coming to Disney World!
Last year, D23 held an exclusive shopping event in the Mickey’s of Glendale at the Walt Disney Imagineering Campus in Glendale, CA. The shop sold some special items and park merchandise to members only, and now there’s a popup coming to the East Coast!
On February 10th, at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, there will be a Mickey’s of Glendale pop-up shop in the Grand Ballroom from 8AM to approximately 3PM. In order to attend, you’ll need to be a D23 member and get a ticket — but tickets are free!
Note that these tickets are good for a 30-minute shopping window for the ticket-holder only, and guests will not be admitted outside of their confirmed time window. The shopping windows are as follows:
- 8:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. EST
- 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. EST
- 9:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. EST

Members will be required to show their D23 Gold Membership Card with a photo ID, and members are not permitted to purchase tickets for non-members or bring guests.
There should be some pretty exclusive merch here, and some items may be limited to one per person.

If you’re not already a D23 member, it costs $99.99 per year to join, or $129.99 for the Gold Duo Plan (which gets you 2 Gold Member cards). Make sure you sign up soon and get your tickets if you’re hoping to check this pop-up shop out!

The sign up for tickets was a joke. The day before, the website was messing up. It was allowing you to go through the buying process only to finish by saying sales opened up the next day. So vone the day of registration, the site is still doing this. Why is this a problem? Because with this problem, it’s impossible to tell if registration is actually open, it was impossible to get in RIGHT AS registration opens.
Since everyone’s clock is slightly different, you must refresh the screen till you see it change. But that didn’t happen this time.
So at 12:59 I began to go through the ticket buying process only to be given message that says they are not for sale yet. Which took over 20 seconds.
Then as the clock flips over to 1pm (according to my clock) all tickets were sold out.
How exactly did this happen? In less than 1 second?
This was just garbage.
