TRON Merchandise Pop-Up Shop Now Open in Disney World

It’s an exciting day at Disney World!

TRON: Lightcycle / Run

Today was the official opening of the highly anticipated ride in Magic Kingdom — TRON: Lightcycle / Run. With the ride’s official opening, a NEW merchandise shop is open, too! Let’s check it out.

A TRON merchandise pop-up shop is officially open for visitors to peruse and check out some merchandise. The pop-up shop is located near the entrance of Stitch’s Great Escape (a ride that is now extinct in Tomorrowland). Who’s ready to go shopping on the Grid?

Let’s head in to the merchandise event!

We expected to have to use Virtual Queue entry, but we were surprised to find that we could walk right in! It was a bit crowded, but nothing we haven’t seen in the Emporium on a random Tuesday.

Crowds were pretty dense but not too bad!

We’ll start off with the merchandise that we saw that’s available online. First, you can grab the TRON MagicBand+.

This MagicBand+ features blue and orange “tracks” on the band itself and the TRON logo on the face.

Looking for T-shirts? These two TRON shirts could be excellent choices! The blue shirt is $44.99 and the black shirt is $39.99.

There is a LOT more merchandise inside this shop, but these are just a few highlights! Note that the official TRON merchandise shop will be Tomorrowland Launch Depot, which has an entrance near the exit of the coaster. This store will also house the TRON Identity Program, where you can build your own custom TRON action figure. The shop is not open yet, however. We’re expecting it to open tomorrow, April 5th.
