It’s NOT Easy To Get This Disney 100th Anniversary Souvenir

We have begun to see signs that Disney World is celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Disney company. Disney World hotels got in new refillable mugs with Disney100 theming. We have seen new Disney100 merchandise both in the parks and online. But, there is one Disney100 souvenir you’ll have to WORK for.

Disney hosts several races throughout the year, with events like the Marathon Weekend and Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. But you can also participate from home in the runDisney virtual races! Now, Disney has released more information about the 2023 runDisney virtual series. Disney has revealed that the theme for the 2023 runDisney virtual series is Disney’s 100th anniversary!

The virtual series has three different 5K races you can choose from. You can also choose to complete all three as part of the Disney100 Challenge. This year’s medal for the challenge showcases Mickey and Minnie inside the Disney100 logo.

But that’s not just a medal. Inside it is a removable magnet that you can display to show off your accomplishment. So it’s two souvenirs in one. It’s a pretty cool souvenir but definitely one you have to work for! If you are at Disney World, you can visit the runDisney showcase at the Springtime Surprise Expo to view the new medal in person.
