Ever wonder what a bunch of Disney World experts really eat in Disney World? When we’re not trying all the latest and greatest snacks, what’s our true favorite? Is it a Mickey Bar? A bucket of popcorn?

Spoiler Alert: It isn’t a Mickey Bar (phew!!)
We’re gonna let you in on a little secret: While we love Disney’s creativity, a lot of those colorful, over-the-top treats look better than they taste. Instead, the DFB team cannot stop eating one food — can you guess what it is?
Wanna know the true sign that a Disney World snack is a WINNER? When a whole team of people can agree that it’s the best!
Now, we exchanged a LOT of ideas about our favorite Disney World foods. Classics like the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, Tonga Toast, and Tiffins Bread Service were tossed around as contenders, but ultimately, we agreed that something arguably BETTER exists.

Ok, everyone BOW DOWN to the Pulled Pork Nachos served at Capt. Cook’s in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. These are a long-time favorite of ours, and we order them whenever we get the chance!

Pulled Pork Nachos
Oh, mama, these are GOOD! The nachos are topped with cheese, spicy mayonnaise, pico de gallo, and pineapple salsa. Admittedly, they might not photograph as well as, say, a Beaches and Cream Milkshake, but true foodies can’t be snobby about looks when the flavor is that good.

Do you hear that? It’s our stomach growling…
At $10.29, we think all those warm, cheesy chips are a pretty good value (in terms of Disney prices, anyway).

Listen, unless you’re a SUPER loyal DFB reader, you might not have even known that these nachos exist! After all, they’re kind of hidden away in a Disney hotel’s quick-service restaurant. That doesn’t exactly scream obvious holy-grail location, does it?

The outdoor seating is nice, too, by the way!
But don’t be fooled; Capt. Cook’s has some of our FAVORITE Disney foods! In fact, if you’re hungry for a quality meal, we might even recommend making a special trip to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort just for the FOOD (okay, and the atmosphere, because WOW, that is hotel beautiful!).

There ya have it. The (not-so-secret) secret it out: the DFB team dreams about Pulled Pork Nachos, and we can’t stop eating them! Next time you’re in Disney World, do yourself a favor and give them a try. Cheese, chips, and salsa are classics for a reason.
