A Hotel Restaurant Has Finally Reopened in Disney World

Disney World is always so BUSY with construction, re-theming, and refurbishments.

It’s like when a new restaurant gets announced, then one gets closed for a re-theme, while another undergoes refurbishment and then reopens. There’s always a LOT going on. Well, we’ve got some details about TWO dining spots in Disney World. Both locations have been closed for a while, but now they’ve both reopened! Oh, happy day!

Trattoria al Forno at Disney’s BoardWalk closed in June 11, 2023 for some refurbishment.

It was initially supposed to reopen on June 17th, but the reopening was delayed. Disney did not give us a specific date for when it would reopen after that.

The accompanying BoardWalk Pizza Window did remain open, although it moved to a temporary location between the restaurant and AbracadaBar.

Well, as of NOW, both locations have officially reopened. We stopped by Disney’s BoardWalk and saw that the Pizza Window was back in business in its original location.

Trattoria al Forno was also open, so we walked inside.

This was all under construction not that long ago, but now it looks great!

We also checked for reservations online for Trattoria al Forno, but they were not available. However, after speaking with a Cast Member, we did confirm that yes, Trattoria al Forno is open and available for reservations, but that the current online reservation system was getting “magical enhancements” (Disney speak for “it’s having issues that will, hopefully, soon be resolved”).
