It’s no secret that Disney World is a very busy place.
Every day, things rotate in and out of the parks, and every day, there are NEW experiences to be had. No Disney day is exactly the same, even if you do the same things each day, and that’s what makes it so special. Part of having new, special experiences means that sometimes, we have to say goodbye.
While some goodbyes are sad, some are very happy goodbyes. Some goodbyes are like, “good riddance,” kind of goodbyes. This week, we said adios to three things at Disney World. Let’s talk about it!
We said goodbye to Galactic Starcruiser.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser had its final voyage on September 28th through 30th, 2023.
Star Wars fans lamented over this farewell voyage while other folks celebrated. This hotel was only in operation for 19 months, and ultimately closed because it didn’t meet performance expectations in its short tenure.

We said goodbye to manually making our trip countdown clocks.
Gone are the days of manually making countdowns for your Disney World trip, because now the Disney World app does it for you!
This feature is located in the hotel plans portion of your app and will notify you and keep you up to date as your vacation approaches. How neat is that?!
WHAT'S NEW AT DISNEY?
Check out our daily updates on all the happenings around Disney World and Disneyland! We said goodbye to Halloween.
Well, not actually. But we did say goodbye to the last of the available Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets. Tickets to this year’s event are completely SOLD OUT!
The good news is that you can still celebrate the Halloween season without a party ticket! There are plenty of fall treats and PSLs to go around.
