OK, I’m going to be annoying for a second. I just can’t stop talking about these products. After standing outside in the Florida heat eight hours a day, six days a week, I feel compelled to share some of the products that helped me survive.
When you eat, sleep, and breathe Disney World, you learn pretty quickly what works and what doesn’t. Those cute chunky platform sandals you packed? They will destroy your feet. That paper-thin rain jacket? It will get soaked the second a rainstorm hits Orlando. When I wasn’t wearing a polyester Disney-issued costume to work, I was strategic about what I wore, and I’m here to pass some of my closet staples on to you.
The HOKA ONE Women’s Low-top Sneaker SAVED my feet!
I will NEVER shut up about these shoes. These were the only things keeping my feet from aching after a long day of standing on hard theme park cement. Do yourself a favor and order a pair of Hokas before your next trip to Disney World. They really are THAT comfortable.
On a hot day, these Teva Original Universal Sandals were PERFECT for me!
If they’re good enough for famous model Gigi Hadid to wear on Soarin’, they’re good enough for me. These Teva sandals are a theme park classic — they’re comfy, simple, and trendy! Oh, and they work for pretty much ANYONE; we’ve seen kids, teens, and adults alike rock these sandals.
I LOVED having a hands-free Mini Belt Bag in the parks!
Regular purses just don’t work in Disney World. You need two hands to schedule Genie+ return times, eat a Mickey pretzel, and wave to Goofy in the Festival of Fantasy parade. Now is NOT the time to bust out your designer handbag. I loved using a simple black belt bag that matched every outfit and stayed out of my way during a busy park day.
A trusty pair of high-waisted biker shorts never failed me when I needed an easy park outfit!
I’m not really a math person, but this is a formula I understand: biker shorts + comfy Disney tee + sneakers + Minnie ears = comfy, casual, CUTE Disney park outfit. There’s no need to reinvent the wheel when you’re on vacation. Get yourself a pack of biker shorts, toss on your favorite shirt, and you’re good to go.
Listen, it’s not hard to replicate my closet here. With a few Disney wardrobe staples and maybe a Loungefly backpack or an extra pair of Minnie ears, you’ll be all set to hit the parks like a true Disney professional. Stay tuned for more Disney product recommendations!
